After delivering super hit films like Fidaa, F2: Fun and Frustration and Gaddalakonda Ganesh, actor Varun Tej has kick-started the shooting for his upcoming film Boxer in Visakhapatnam. On Twitter, Varun shared a picture of Arri Alexa camera and is elated to be back under arc lights. "Back to sets! Day 1 in Vizag. Need all your love!!," he captioned the tweet.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, the film showcases the actor in the role of a boxer. Reportedly, Varun went to the US and trained under 2008 Summer Olympics bronze medalist Tony Jeffries. That's not all, he has also roped in Neeraj Goyat, the WBC Asia Honorary Boxer of the year 2017 as his personal trainer and Hollywood stuntman Larnell Stovall to choreograph the action sequences for the film.

Produced by Siddhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh (Bobby), Boxer has music by SS Thaman. The makers are considering Saiee Manjrekar, who made her debut opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg 3 for the female lead's role.
