Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma's upcoming action-drama Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante. The film's title is inspired by AR Rahman's chartbuster song Kanulu kanulanu dochayante from Mani Ratnam's Donga Donga (1993). Directed by Desingh Periyasamy, the film showcases Dulquer as Siddharth, a mobile application developer, who falls head over heels in love with Meera, played by Ritu.

"It's the story of a happy-go-lucky youngster, who gets caught in a tricky situation after he meets the girl of his dreams. The film is loaded with many twists and turns. The sizzling chemistry of Dulquer and Ritu will add a new dimension to the narrative," says Periyasamy.

Produced jointly by Viacom 18 Studios and Anto Joseph Film Company, the Telugu-Tamil bilingual has music by Masala Coffee. Renowned director  Gautham Vasudev Menon is playing an important role in the film, which has background score by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
