Just a few days after the announcement of 14 Reels Plus producing Parasuram's next, starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead, speculations are abuzz that Rashmika Mandanna, who earlier worked with the director in Geetha Govindam, is being considered for this film. 

Sources close to the production team reveal that many names including Samantha Akkineni were initially considered for the female lead, but now they are keen on casting Rashmika. 

Meanwhile, Rashmika will next be seen in Bheeshma, which hits the screens on February 21. She is also part of Allu Arjun's new movie directed by Sukumar. Naga Chaitanya, on the other hand, is busy wrapping up the last leg of the shoot of his upcoming film, Love Story.
