Nanny McPhee-actor Raphael Coleman, who worked alongside Emma Thompson and Colin Firth in the 2005 film, has passed away. He was 25. The British actor reportedly died after collapsing on a run.

Coleman, who also starred in It's Alive (2009) and The Fourth Kind (2009), went on to study zoology at the University of Manchester before dedicating himself to activism. He was actively involved in the environmental movement, Extinction Rebellion, to advocate for wildlife conservation. 

Liz Jensen, Coleman's mother, confirmed the news over social media, and urged everyone to celebrate "all he achieved in his short life and cherish his legacy." She also shared an essay written by Coleman for the Extinction Rebellion.

His stepfather Carsten Jensen too took to social media to remember the actor-activist. "When I think of Raph, I see something that will never die, a blunt of eternity, a light beam that lives forever in young people," he said.
