It was a clear Bong Joon-ho show at the Oscars 2020, where the filmmaker received four awards for his film Parasite, including top honours of Best Picture and Best Director.

In a cute video that is currently going viral, Joon Ho is seen apologising to the engravers for ‘too much work’, as he waited for his statuettes to be engraved. The engraver, in return, laughs and congratulates Bong on his victory.

In a landmark moment in Oscar history, Parasite won both the Best Picture award and also the Best International film. The film was competing with 1917, Marriage Story, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Jojo Rabbit, Ford Vs Ferrari, Joker, Little Women, and The Irishmen for the top honour.
