Sudeep has completed the shooting for Shiva Karthik’s Kotigobba 3 and has bid adieu to his role as host of the reality show, Bigg Boss Season 7. The actor isn't taking a break, however. He is now said to be gearing up to start shooting for Phantom, which will go on floors next week. 

The project will bring together the actor and director Anup Bhandari for the first time. Phantom is being made in collaboration with Manjunath Gowda, and will also feature Rangitaranga-hero Nirup Bhandari. There are also reports of actor Samantha Akkineni being a part of the project.

The makers have, however, maintained secrecy about the plot, and this has only raised the curiosity among the fans of Sudeep, who are keen to know the role that the star will play in Phantom.
