The shooting for Blind, an action thriller starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, began today in Glasgow, Scotland. The Shome Makhija directorial venture is expected to be completed in a start-to-finish schedule. 

Billed as an edge-of-the-seat thriller, Blind is about a blind police officer in pursuit of a serial killer. Originally made in Korean in 2011, Blind has been remade in multiple languages over the years.  

Apart from Sonam, the film also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lilette Dubey in pivotal roles. 

Produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Manisha W, Pinkesh Nahar, Sachin Nahar and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Blind is slated for release in 2021.

Meanwhile, Sonam, who last headlined The Zoya Factor, was recently seen in a cameo in AK vs AK.
