Late actor-director Vijaya Nirmala and actor Krishna's grandson, Sharan 'The Light' Kumar's debut film went on floors on Sunday. The first schedule will be shot in Hyderabad.

"Our film is a romantic crime thriller. Being trained in acting, fighting, and horse riding over the last few years, debutant Sharan is performing like a thorough professional. Apart from Hyderabad, we will also shoot in Bengaluru, Mangalore, and Chennai. The principal shooting will be wrapped up by March and the film will land in cinemas in summer," says Ramachandra Vattikuti, the writer and director of this yet-to-be-titled film.

The film also features MM William as the antagonist. "We have finalised a popular Bollywood actor as the female lead opposite Sharan. We will divulge the details shortly in the new year," Ramachandra adds.

Produced by Cineteria Media Works, the untitled film has music by Raghu Ram.
