Zakariya pens a new family drama; debutant Ameen Aslam to direct

Aneesh G Menon, Anu Sithara, Aju Varghese, and Hareesh Kanaran are set to star in the film as the main leads

After Halal Love Story, filmmaker Zakariya has penned a new script. Titled Momo in Dubai, the project is pegged as a family drama. Debutant Ameen Aslam will direct the film which has Aneesh G Menon, Anu Sithara, Aju Varghese, and Hareesh Kanaran as the main leads.

Zakariya co-wrote the script with Ashif Kakkodi, who also co-wrote Halal Love Story. The former's frequent collaborator Muhsin Parari, who worked with him in Sudani from Nigeria and Halal, will pen the lyrics. Jassie Gift and Gafoor M Khayyam will compose the music.

While Jimshi Khalid is onboard as the cinematographer, Ratheesh Raj will handle the editing. Vicky and Kishan are in charge of the sound department.

Zakariya is jointly producing the film with PB Aneesh and Harris Desom, under the banner of Imagin Cinemas and Cross Border Camera.
