Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar, and producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur have been featured in Variety 500 of 2020, an annual list of 500 “most influential business leaders shaping the global media industry.”

In the Variety 500 of 2020 that was released recently, they followed their annual tradition of naming 500 people who have been greatly influential to entertainment worldwide.

Other Indians in the list include notable film distributor Kishore Lulla, who has tied hands with Hollywood to work on a streaming service; Southern industry’s media baron Kalanithi Maran; Guru Gowrappan, who has achieved milestones in content, advertising and technology for a telecom company with renowned digital brands. There’s also Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani, whose telecom brand Jio has also emerged as a digital streaming service.

They share the list with global celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Mark Zuckerberg, and others.
