Actor Payal Rajput plays a tough cop in her next film 5W (Who, Where, When, What, and Why).

"5W is not one of those cliched cop films. It is an investigative mystery drama that showcases Payal as a powerful police officer, donning khakhi for the first time. The story is inspired by a real incident that happened in the life of a fiery cop and this point convinced Payal to accept this film," says Prandeep, the director of the film.

Produced by Yashoda Thakore, the film is gearing up for release in January. "We want to give our audience a captivating experience and which is why we have waited long enough for the theatres to reopen. Plans are afoot to release our film in January and we will announce the release date shortly," adds Prandeep.
