We earlier reported that KGF director Prashanth Neel will be teaming up with Prabhas for an upcoming film titled, Salaar. The latest update is that cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda has joined the project, which is being bankrolled by Hombale Films.

The photographer-turned-cinematographer who has worked with Prashanth Neel on all his projects thus far — Ugramm, KGF Chapter 1 and KGF 2 — will now team up with him for the fourth time.

Bhuvan is looking forward to repeating history with KGF Chapter 2, and he is happy to be going a step ahead with Salaar.

The first look of the film shows the actor posing with a rifle, and carries the caption, “The most violent men..called one man...The most violent!”

Talking to Cinema Express about the positive response for the first look, Bhuvan reveals that the photoshoot for Prabhas in Salaar was done by him. “What began with Ugramm has been an excellent journey with Prashanth Neel, and I have had a memorable experience working with the director in both versions of KGF too. I am now gearing up to begin my next. I am looking forward to working with Prabhas, and I hope to capture the vision of the director in Salaar,” he says.

The makers, who plan to begin shooting by January-end, are in the process of zeroing in on the cast and crew, and are organising auditions in different regions.
