We had earlier reported that Bobby Simha's next will be Vasantha Mullai, helmed by debutant Ramana Purushothama. The first look of the film was released on Diwali day, and today, the dubbing began with a pooja ceremony.

The actor took to his Twitter handle to share the news.

Produced by SRT Entertainment and Mudhra's Film Factory, Vasantha Mullai, which is touted as an edge-of-the-seat thriller, stars Kashmira Pardeshi as the female lead. The film will have music by Rajesh Murugesan (known for Premam and Neram) with Gopi Amarnath handling the cinematography.

Bobby Simha was last seen in Tamil in Karthik Subbaraj's segment Miracle in the Amazon Prime anthology Putham Pudhu Kaalai. He has Seerum Puli, Vallavanukku Vallavan, Indian 2, and the yet-to-be-titled Vikram Rajeshwar film coming up. He is also playing the antagonist in Ravi Teja's Telugu film Disco Raja, which is also produced by SRT Entertainment.
