Rajesh Tailang joins the cast of Andaman

CE Features

Actor Rajesh Tailang (Mirzapur, Delhi Crime) has joined the cast of Andaman along with Sanjay Mishra. The film is directed by debutant director Smita Singh and is written by Anand Raaj, who is also essaying the protagonist. It is an inspirational social drama about a quarantine centre in an unprivileged village.

On picking the script of Andaman, Rajesh shares, "I always look for a good team and then say yes to the film. I opt for teams with optimism and zeal. As I've known the director Smita Singh and my co-actor Anand Raaj for years, I'm well aware of their enthusiasm and hard work. The way they channel their talent is great and that's the reason I chose the film."

Rajesh feels the film will be relevant as we gradually recover from the pandemic. "It covers a lot of different human aspects. It's an overall inspiring comedy-drama. Also, the film was shot amidst the pandemic so it has the constant endeavour and toil of the entire team behind it."
