Filmmaker Pawan Kumar of U-turn and Lucia fame has joined hands with Amala Paul for a web series titled Kudi Yedamaithe. The eight-episode project, which went on floors this month, is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The team plans to wrap it up in January.
The sci-fi thriller, co-starring Rahul Vijay in the lead, is being made for the Telugu OTT platform Aha. It has been revealed that Pawan will also be playing an important role in it.
Kudi Yedamaithe marks Pawan's second web series, he earlier directed selected episodes of Netflix's Leila.
The director broke the news by sharing a series of photos from the sets, through his Instagram profile. He wrote,
Apart from Kudi Yedamaithe, Amala has Adho Andha Paravai Pola and Cadaver in Tamil, Aadujeevitham in Malayalam, and the Telugu version of Lust Stories in her kitty.
Pawan Kumar, meanwhile is waiting to work as an actor in Yograj Bhat's Gaalipata 2, which will go on floors in January.
