It is official. Arun Vijay and Hari will be teaming for a film produced by Drumsticks Productions. An official statement from the makers announces that the project will go on floors in February 2021 and is scheduled to hit screens in August 2021. The rest of the cast and crew has not been revealed yet. 

Director Hari was earlier supposed to work with Suriya on a film named Aruvaa. But, the collaboration fell through, and it was rumoured that Arun Vijay had replaced Suriya in the rural-action entertainer after pictures of Arun Vijay with a handlebar moustache surfaced. However, it is not clear if this new project will have Aruvaa’s script. 

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay, who is currently awaiting the release of Agni Siragugal, has Boxer, Sinam, and a film with Arivazhagan in the pipeline.
