According to Twitter India, Vijay’s upcoming film Master was the most tweeted South Indian movie hashtag of the year.

The micro-blogging site recently released a list of top 10 South Indian movie hashtags of the year. While Master took the pedestal, Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab came second. Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar, which received only a lukewarm response from the audience, came 10th in the list.

Notably, out of the top five names, only Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru was released this year. Master, Ajith Kumar’s Valimai, Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, and Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata are all films that are yet to be released.
