Vimal, who was recently seen in the comedy entertainer, Kanni Raasi, will next headline a horror film. It will be directed by Veera, who has earlier helmed 1 Pandhu 4 Run 1 Wicket. 

This will be the next production by Singaravadivelan's Madukkur Film Makers, known for backing films like Walter and Kazhugu 2. The makers are planning to shoot this project as a one-shot film.

The film will go floors in January. However, the makers are yet to decide on the cast and crew of the film. 

Meanwhile, Vimal and Sargunam have teamed up for the fourth time for a film called Enga Paatan Soththu. The actor also films like has Sandakaari with Shriya Saran, Manjal Kudai, Lucky, Kulasami,  and Thudikarangal, in the pipeline.
