Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal has had a string of interesting roles in 2020. In the crime-series Aashram, he essayed the right-hand man of Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol). Chandan’s character, Bhopa Swami, was a sharp mercenary who silenced his detractors in a matter-of-fact way.

Beyond that, his act as Swapan, a paralysed overlord in Kaali Season 2, and as a husband looking to rekindle his married life in Forbidden Love, are some of his other notable performances this year.

Aashram gave me a special identity as an actor,” Chandan says looking back at his recent roles. “I'm grateful that the year turned out so fruitful for me with such amazing and unique projects.”

Asked about his upcoming roles, Chandan shares,  “Currently, I'm in the middle of finalising some super exciting projects and I can't wait to sink my teeth into different roles and collaborate with the greats of the industry.”
