Unpaused: Anthology of five Hindi shorts to premiere on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has announced their upcoming original, Unpaused - an anthology of five Hindi short films featuring stories about ‘hope, second chances, and new beginnings’. It is set to premiere on December 18.

The five shorts are:

Glitch directed by Raj & DK and starring Gulshan Devaiah and Saiyami Kher

Apartment directed by Nikkhil Advani and starring Richa Chadha, Sumeet Vyas, and Ishwak Singh

Rat – A – Tat directed by Tannishtha Chatterjee and featuring Rinku Rajguru and Lillete Dubey

Vishaanu directed by Avinash Arun and starring Abhishek Banerjee and Geetika Vidya

Chaand Mubarak directed by Nitya Mehra and featuring Ratna Pathak Shah and Shardul Bhardwaj

An Amazon Original, Unpaused was shot during the Covid-19 Unlock phase in compliance with government regulations issued in the state of Maharashtra. It follows the launch of Putham Pudhu Kaalai, a Tamil five-film anthology released on Prime Video in October.

“The union of such creative forces during these unprecedented times is testament to the fact that art will always find expression, even in the most challenging times,” said Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Amazon Prime Video. She added, “These stories are a reminder that there is hope at the end of a dark tunnel and chance for us to embark on new beginnings. We are delighted to offer a fresh format with Unpaused to our customers.”
