Chandan Roy Sanyal: Working with Prakash Jha in Aashram has honed my acting skills

Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal is garnering praise for his performance in Aashram. In the show, Chandan essays the role of Bhopa Swami, the prime aide of series protagonist Baba Nirala (Bobby Deol). Directed by Prakash Jha, the MX Player series revolves around crime and corruption in the faith industry. 

Talking about his experience on Aashram, Chandan shares, “Working with Prakash Jha was fantastic. I learned a lot from him. I aspire to be a filmmaker one day and it's great to work with directors like him.”

Chandan shared Prakash Jha shoots with a scene’s edits in mind. “Working with him helped me hone my acting skills. He would always tell me to do less. I followed his advice and that has made my portrayal look convincing on the screen,” the actor says.
