We had earlier reported that Amala Paul is working on a film named Cadaver and that the actor will be playing a forensic surgeon in it. Now, it looks like the film has been locked for release. While several others have been opting for a digital release due to the lockdown, it seems that Cadaver will wait for a theatrical release.

Cadaver’s editor San Lokesh tweeted, “Finally, locked Cadaver. Has come out really very well. Very excited to see in theatres soon! Thanks for a good film, Amala, Anoop Panicker, AbhilashPillai.”

Directed by debutant Anoop Panicker, Cadaver is also produced by Amala. The film is reported to be based on a real-life case managed by former Kerala police surgeon Dr B Umadathan. Apart from Amala, Cadaver stars Harish Uthaman and Ramesh Khanna in important roles.

Amala Paul was last seen in the film Aadai, and aside from Cadaver, she will next be seen in Adho Andha Paravai Pola and Aadujeevitham.
