Earlier today, Vijay Television announced that there would be a "Bigg Announcement" this evening, and social media was abuzz with anticipation surrounding the fourth season of their successful reality show, Bigg Boss.

As expected, Kamal Haasan, who has hosted the previous three editions of Bigg Boss, put out a video announcing that the fourth season was on the way.

In a short video, the actor-politician spoke about how the coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill, and it is time to get back on our feet and restart the economy around us. 

Meanwhile, the dates and the contestants of Bigg Boss 4 are yet to be announced. It will be screened on Vijay TV and Disney+ Hotstar.
