Amitabh Bachchan has resumed work after recovering from COVID-19. The 77-year-old actor has started shooting for season 12 of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Posting a picture on Instagram, Big B wrote, "It's back to work... in a sea of blue PPE. KBC 12... started 2000... today year 2020... 20 years! That's a lifetime!"

Big B added it was a different feeling getting back on set amid the pandemic, and mentioned the various precautions taken on set, including masks, sanitising routines and PPEs. He also rued the ‘loss of camaraderie’ between people. "No one speaks unless it's work-related. It's like a laboratory where some rather deep scientific experiments abound,” he observed.

Amitabh Bachchan had tested positive for COVID-19 on July 11. He was discharged from Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital after a 23-day stay. Abhishek Bachchan, who was admitted to the same hospital, was discharged a week later. The rest of the Bachchan family has also recovered from the coronavirus.
