Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Samuel Haokip has claimed that the actor was in a relationship with Sara Ali Khan. Sushant and Sara were co-stars in Kedarnath (2018).

The two were ‘totally in love’ and ‘inseparable’ during the film’s promotions, Samuel wrote in an Instagram post. However, following the box-office failure of Sonchiriya, Sara broke up with Sushant. Samuel wondered if her decision was influenced by pressure from the ‘Bollywood Mafia’.

“I remember the time during Kedarnath promotions…Sushant and Sara were totally in love…they were inseparable…so pure and childlike innocence. They both had tremendous respect for each other which was so rare to see nowadays in relationships.”

Samuel continued, “Sara along with Sushant had genuine respect for everyone in Sushant’s life…be it family, friends and even staff. I wonder whether Sara’s decision to break up with Sushant right after Sonchiriya’s box office performance was due to any pressure by the Bollywood Mafia.”

Sushant died by suicide at his Mumbai home on June 14. He was 34. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court ordered a CBI investigation into allegations against actor Rhea Chakraborty and others. Rhea and Sushant were supposedly dating before his demise.
