Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with lung cancer, to fly to US for treatment: reports 

The 61-year-old actor was discharged from the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Monday

Actor Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, reports state. The 61-year-old actor was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after he suffered from low oxygen saturation levels and breathlessness on Sunday. He was discharged on Monday. 

“Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My friends and family are with me and I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon,” Sanjay said in a statement. 

At Lilavati, Sanjay had tested negative for COVID-19 in the rapid antigen test. As per reports, the doctors ran a cancer analysis on the actor which came positive. He will be flying to the US for treatment immediately, it is reported. 

Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming release is Sadak 2. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 28. He will also be seen in Torbaaz, Bhuj: The Pride of India, and KGF: Chapter 2
