It looks like director Sundar C will be teaming up with Jai for a new project. Reports suggest that the director will not only be helming this new project, but will also star in it. The actor-director duo had earlier worked together on Kalakalappu 2, the sequel to Sundar C's hit 2012 comedy Kalakalappu. An official announcement is awaited.

Sundar C was last seen in Iruttu, which was directed by VZ Dorai. The director-actor had also announced Aranmanai 3, starring Arya, Raashi Khanna and Andrea Jeremiah, shooting for which was stalled after the coronavirus outbreak.

Jai, on the other hand, last appeared in SA Chandrasekhar’s Capmaari. The actor also has the superhero film Breaking News and the much-delayed Party in the pipeline.
