SP Balasubrahmanyam tests positive for Covid-19

Though the doctors recommended staying at home, SPB chose to get admitted in hospital

Veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been admitted in the hospital with mild symptoms. 

The singer revealed this news through a self-shot video of himself, which was posted on his social media account. Talking from his hospital room, SPB said, "I was having a little discomfort because of phlegm forming and on and off fever. But I didn't want to take it easy. So I got myself tested and found that I have been infected with coronavirus."

He also added that the doctors recommended that he stay at home, but he chose to get admitted at the hospital. "Nobody has to worry about my health. I am doing perfectly alright. The fever has subsided significantly.  I will be back to normal in two days and return home."
