Nivetha Thomas not a part of Pushpa

CE Features

A few days ago speculations were rife that Nivetha Thomas had been roped in as the second female lead in Allu Arjun's Pushpa, directed by Sukumar. Despite the fact that Rashmika Mandanna has been officially announced as the heroine of the film, the rumours stated that Nivetha will be playing Allu Arjun's love interest.

Now, reliable sources have refuted these reports, calling them baseless and clarifying that Rashmika is the only female lead of the film.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi was expected to play the antagonist in Pushpa, but recent developments state that he might be replaced by Kannada actor Dhananjaya.

Set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling in Seshachalam forests, the action-entertainer features Allu Arjun as a lorry driver. Pushpa has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
