The latest speculation making rounds in Kollywood is that Mysskin, who had a fallout with his Thupparivaalan actor Vishal, is next gearing up for a film with Simbu. It is also rumoured that this Simbu-Mysskin film will be produced by Gnanavelraja under his Studio Green banner.

Sources state that an official announcement can be expected once the COVID-19 lockdown is revoked. The sources also say that the project Simbu and Studio Green previously teamed up for, the Tamil remake of the hit Kannada film Mufti, has been dropped halfway and the remainder of the actor's call sheet will be used for this new project with Mysskin.

Vishal had earlier confirmed that he will be taking over the directorial duties of Thupparivaalan 2 after Mysskin walked out of the project. Since then, there has been no official word on Mysskin's next project.

Meanwhile, Simbu will next be seen in Maanadu, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Studio Green's next film, on the other hand, is the Suriya-Hari film Aruvaa, which is currently in pre-production.
