Earlier this month, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan had offered their four-storey office space in Mumbai as a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients. In a video post on Friday, Gauri shared a glimpse of their office, which has been converted into a 22-bed quarantine space. The facility will be used in the coming days in the ongoing fight against the coronavirus.

‘#GauriKhanDesigns refurbished this office… A quarantine zone providing essentials and services to those in need. We must stand together and stand strong in this fight against #Covid19,” she wrote. The office was converted by SRK’s Meer Foundation under the guidance of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan had announced several initiatives to assist during the coronavirus crisis. These included donations to PM-Cares and the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Furthermore, the actor pledged to contribute 50,000 PPE kits and provide meals to over 5,500 families in Mumbai.
