We had earlier reported that Suriya will be collaborating with Vetri Maaran for a film named Vaadi Vaasal, with GV Prakash in charge of the music. The music composer has now announced that he has begun work on the project, which is also his 75th film as a music director. “#GV75 will be special. Pre work for Vaadi Vaasal has already started. The sound will be unique,” he wrote. 
 

Produced by V Creations, Vaadi Vaasal will see Suriya collaborate with Vetri Maaran for the first time. The film is an adaptation of  the popular writer CS Chellapa’s Tamil novel of the same name. 

Interestingly, Vetri Maaran’s previous hit Asuran was also produced by V Creations and had music by GV Prakash.

It is also worth noting that GV Prakash composed the music for Suriya’s upcoming film Soorarai Pottru as well, the release of which has been pushed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
