Robert Pattinson's Batman will most likely have a strong romantic angle, get married and have kids in the follow-ups to The Batman, claim reports. 

The first film in the planned new trilogy will reportedly establish Batman's romance with Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz.

The sequel to the Matt Reeves directorial is speculated to feature its version of the Joker taking over Gotham, alongside the love story of Batman. It is also expected that future films will see the Dark Knight having kids. 

It may be recalled that in the 1992 film Batman Returns, the caped crusader and Catwoman had a love angle. But, the story ends with the latter dying in an attempt to seek revenge on her former boss.

Filming of Reeves' The Batman has been stalled due to the coronavirus outbreak.
