Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti have come up with a new series titled Off The Record, where they will discuss key scenes from their movies. The filmmakers, along with their cast and crew, will explore "what went into creating some of their best scenes, what their psychology was in that moment and why this particular scene will always remain unforgettable to them."

The first episode of Off The Record, which is out on YouTube, finds Farhan Akhtar discussing a scene from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, where his character Imran meets his biological father played by Naseeruddin Shah.

“It was one scene from that film I felt very nervous and anxious about,” Farhan shares via voice-over. “Imran was the character who made you laugh through the film. It was the first time, with the exception of the poetry, that we got a glimpse into the vulnerable side of Imraan.”

Zoya and Reema are producing Off The Record under their banner Tiger Baby. Their previous offerings include Gully Boy and Made in Heaven.
