Telugu actor Narsing Yadav slips into coma, critical

Actor Narsing Yadav, who was known for playing a comic villain in films like Kshana Kshanam, Gaayam, Mutha Mestri, and Tagore, slipped into coma on Thursday after a brief illness.

In a statement, his wife, Chitra Yadav stated that Narsing, as he is popularly called, has been put on ventilator support and was under constant observation at the intensive care unit (ICU) in a private hospital at Somajiguda.

Chitra stated that Narsing underwent dialysis and also dismissed reports that he had sustained severe injuries on his head after suffering an accidental fall at home. She requested people to pray for his recovery.
