Raghava Lawrence confirms Chandramuki 2 in works, donates Rs 3 crore for coronavirus relief

Actor-dancer Raghava Lawrence has confirmed that he will star in Chandramuki 2, with permission from Superstar Rajinikanth. He further pledged to donate Rs 3 crore from his advance for the film for coronavirus relief. 

The horror-comedy film will be directed by P Vasu and produced by Kalanathi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner. It is still unclear if Rajinikanth will also star in the film.

Of Lawrence's overall donation, Rs 50  lakh each will be donated to PM-CARES fund and Tamil Nadu CM relief fund. Further, Rs 50 lakh for FEFSI union, Rs 50 lakh for his dancers' union, Rs 25 lakh for disabled people, and Rs 75 lakh for daily wage workers and for people from the actor's native place Royapuram, Desiyanagar will be contributed.

The actor has also ensured that all food essentials will be delivered with the help of police by following required safety measures.
