The NGO has been providing relief services to the needy amid the coronavirus crisis.

“We salute the immediate help from Superstar Hrithik Roshan in providing relief and supporting the health and well-being of all Indians in need of care. We deeply thank you for your gesture,” read a tweet from Akshaya Patra Official.

Hrithik wrote back: “I wish you the power to ensure that no one in our country sleeps hungry. You all are the real superheroes on ground.”

The actor had previously procured N95 and FFP3 masks for BMC workers and caretakers fighting to contain the COVID-19 spread. He is presently observing self-quarantine with his family in Mumbai.
