Jaws actor Lee Fierro dies of coronavirus complications at age of 91

Lee Fierro, the actor who played Mrs Kintner in Steven Spielberg's Jaws and its 1987 sequel died of coronavirus complications at the age of 91. 

Fierro played the role of Alex Kintner's (Jeffrey Voorhees) mother in the two films. Other than these films, she worked as artistic director of the Island Theatre Workshop for more than 25 years and mentored over 1,000 kids in theatre.

Fierro is survived by her five children and a small funeral ceremony will be held to honor her memory due to social restrictions following the pandemic. Fierro was last living in Ohio at an assisted-living facility.
