Well-known comedian Prakash, popularly known as Bullet Prakash, is no more. The 44-year-old actor, who has acted in 325 films, was suffering from gastric, liver infection and kidney-related ailments. He was hospitalised for the past few days and breathed his last this evening.

Bullet Prakash, who mostly played sidekicks and comedy roles, shared screen space with both big stars and newcomers. A good friend of Darshan, Prakash was known for his performance in films like Kalasipalya, Dhruva, Aithalakkadi and Aryan.

Yogaraj Bhat's Gaalipata 2 is set to be Prakash's last onscreen appearance.

The actor, who had weight issues, lost 35 kilograms recently and it is said this caused him trouble.

A former Bigg Boss Kannada participant, Bullet Prakash also had a stint in politics and contested elections as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate.

Prakash is survived by his wife Manjula, daughter Monika Varshini, and son Rakshak Sena.
