Ramya Pandian signs two films

Actor Ramya Pandian, best known for her role in Raju Murugan’s National Award winning film Joker, has revealed that she has signed two new Tamil films. In a recent Instagram session, the actor announced that she will be part of a film produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment, and one bankrolled by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment. More details are expected to be announced by the respective makers after the COVID-19 lockdown ends. 

Ramya’s last Tamil film was Aan Devathai, which was helmed by Thamira and featured Samuthirakani as the male lead. The actor became a social media sensation after one of her photoshoots on a terrace went viral on multiple platforms. Incidentally, Ramya was also recently a part of a television reality show called Cook with Comali

2D Entertainment recently distributed Halitha Shameem’s Sillu Karupetti, which won much acclaim, and is also bankrolling Suriya’s upcoming film, Soorarai Pottru.
