Nikhil Kumar to join hands with Pailwaan director S Krishna

Nikhil will collaborate with Lyca Productions for this yet-to-be-titled project, which will be the banner's first in Kannada

A Sharadhaa

Two-film-old actor Nikhil Kumar is now focusing on making his third outing bigger and better, and reports suggest he will be joining hands with Pailwaan-director S Krishna, who has delivered a hat-trick with Gajakesari, Hebbuli, and Pailwaan.

Nikhil will be collaborating with Lyca Productions for this film, and this yet-to-be-titled project will be the Chennai-based banner's first in Kannada. It is said to be a film in an unusual genre for both the actor and director, and as well as the production house.

The actor, who prefers waiting for the right project, feels the wait has paid off with everything falling in place, including the producer and director. Our source tells us that Nikhil and Krishna have been in talks about the collaboration for quite some time now, and they wanted a script that would justify their combo.

“Nikhil, who will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar, will undergo a transformation, and the actor has already started preparing for the character over the past one-and-a-half months,” adds our source.

This project, in all likelihood, is set to go on floors in January 2020.
