One of the biggest Tamil hits of the year, Viswasam, which was written and directed by Siva, and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, featured a rousing soundtrack from D Imman. The recently-released trailer of the Milan Milap Zaveri-directed action film, Marjaavan, features a portion of the background score from the Ajith-Nayanthara-starrer.

Imman took to his official Twitter account to express his disappointment over the usage of his work without prior permission.

After Imman's tweet went viral, the makers of the Bollywood film edited the description of the trailer on YouTube to give credits to the composer.

Marjaavaan stars Siddharth Malhotra and Ritesh Deshmukh as the protagonist and antagonist, respectively. The film is co-produced by T-Series and Emmay Entertainment. Its music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Meet Bros, and Paayal Dev.

Meanwhile, Imman is awaiting the release of the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Namma Veettu Pillai tomorrow.
