AR Rahman's 99 Songs to premiere at Busan Film Festival

99 Songs, which has been bankrolled and written by AR Rahman, will premiere at the Busan Film Festival on October 9. 

The film, which was announced on Aprill 11 by Rahman, has been directed by Vignesh Krishnamoorthy. Starring Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas in the lead, it is said to be a sensual story about art and the self-discovery of a struggling singer, who wants to be a successful music composer.

99 Songs, which is jointly produced by Rahman under his banner of YM Movies and Jio Studios, is said to have 14-15 tracks in Hindi, Tamil, and English. The film was earlier slated to hit the screens on June 30.
