Tollywood comedian Venu Madhav critical, on ventilator

Renowned Telugu film comedian Venu Madhav has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Secunderabad with a liver-related ailment and his condition is said to be critical, according to the hospital sources.

The comedian, known for his performances in films like Tholi Prema, Priyamaina Neeku, Dil, Arya, Simhadri, Venky, Sye, Mass and Pokiri, among others, has reportedly been suffering from liver disease for several months now. He was rushed to a private hospital in Secunderabad when he complained of uneasiness, and has been put on ventilator support. His condition remains extremely critical.

Venu Madhav, who tasted fame in the 90s with his impeccable comedy timing, has been off the limelight for a brief period, giving rise to many speculations about his health.
