Bigil audio launch speech lands Vivekh in trouble

CE Features

The speeches of the various celebrities at the Bigil audio launch function may have been a treat to his fans, but it seems to have earned the wrath of certain other quarters, including the ruling party ministers.

Now, in an unexpected development, fans of actor Sivaji Ganesan have sent a letter to Vivekh, condemning his speech at the event, and asking him to apologise for the same.

Vivekh had stated that the Nenjil Kudiyirukkum song from the Sivaji-Vyjyanthimala-starrer Irumbu Thirai was not spoken about much, but the song starting with the same line in Bigil has become a chartbuster.

In connection with this, K Chandrasekharan of the Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan Samooga Nala Peravai, has condemned Vivekh's lines, alleging that it insulted the legendary acror. He also questioned why, if the old song was not a good one, it was duplicated in Bigil.

Chandrasekharan pointed out in his letter that Vivek has spoofed Sivaji's iconic scenes in Parasakthi in an earlier film. He also warned the veteran comedian that the fans association will conduct an protest against him, if he continues to troll Sivaji Ganesan.

Meanwhile, Bigil, a sports drama, also starring Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Amritha Iyer, Indhuja, and Varsha Bollamma, is scheduled for release this Diwali.
