We had ealier reported that Sathyaraj and Sibiraj will be joining hands for a new film, directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy of Saithan and Sathya fame, and that it will most likely be a remake of the Kannada hit film, Kavaludaari. It has now been announced that Nandita Swetha, who was last seen in Devi 2, will be playing the female lead in this film. 

The Attakathi-actor will be sharing screen space with Sibiraj for the first time in this yet-to-be-titled film. Also starring Nasser and Sampath, the suspense-thriller produced by Dhananjayan under his banner Creative Entertainers and Distributors, has music by Simon K King and dialogues by John Mahendran.

Apart from this film, Nandita has Akshara in Telugu and Taana, alongside Vaibhav in Tamil, waiting for release.
