Vijay Antony, who had made a smooth transition from music composer to actor, is currently one of the busiest stars around with films like Agni Siragugal, Khakhi, and Thamizharasan in various stages of productions, and a few more in the pre-production stage.

Now, the latest speculation doing the rounds is that the Thimiru Pudichavan actor has reportedly signed a Malayalam film, to be directed by Vipin, and starring Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles. Interestingly it was Vijay Sethupathi, who was initially in talks for this role, and as he could not adjust his dates because of his busy schedule, the role seems to have landed on Vijay Antony's lap. An official confirmation is awaited.

This film is expected to go on floors in December.
