Christopher Nolan has arrived in Mumbai along with actors Robert Pattinson and John David Washington to shoot for Tenet. The film also stars Bollywood actor Dimple Kapadia in a pivotal role.

The shooting of Tenet will continue in South Mumbai for a 10-day schedule. Locations include the Taj Mahal Palace hotel and the Colaba causeway area. The film was earlier shot in Estonia and Hampstead, London.

Nolan had previously shot portions of The Dark Knight Rises in India. Last year, the filmmaker along with visual artist Tacita Dean headlined an event on film preservation in Mumbai.

Tenet is an international espionage thriller spanning seven countries. The film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Clémence Poésy, Michael Caine and Himesh Patel. Swedish composer Ludwig Göransson has written the score.

Tenet will be released worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures on July 17, 2020. Christopher Nolan's last directorial outing was Dunkirk (2017).
