It is already known that the core team of Nerkonda Paarvai — actor Ajith Kumar, director H Vinoth, and producer Boney Kapoor — are doing one more film, which is being referred to as Thala 60. With the shooting currently underway, it was reported that actor Anikha Surendran will also be part of the film, and that she will be playing the daughter of the Vivegam star. 

However, a source close to Anikha vehemently denies these speculations and confirms that she is not part of Thala 60. Anikha has previously played Ajith's daughter in Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal and Siva's Viswasam. 

Earlier, Boney Kapoor revealed that Thala 60, a big-budget action entertainer, will capitalise on Ajith's racing interests. The project was pitched to AR Rahman, who could not take it up due to prior commitments. If reports are to believed, Yuvan Shankar Raja, who was part of the team's earlier collaboration, Nerkonda Paarvai, might be roped in for this film too.

An official confirmation about the rest of the cast and crew is expected soon.
