Three Telugu films are lined up for release during the Christmas holiday weekend. Ravi Teja-starrer sci-fi thriller Disco Raja will lock horns with Nithiin's Bheeshma and Sai Tej's family drama Prathi Roju Pandaage at the ticket window, say sources.

"With Christmas being the last festive season of the year, several filmmakers have decided to release their movies during this time. Like 2018 and 2017, this Christmas weekend too will see a busy box office. It's good for the audience who will have lots of options, but these films will eat into each other's revenues. It would be better to maintain some gap and schedule one of these films for the New Year," informs a source. 

Apart from these three films, rumour has it that Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni's untitled romance drama, a remake of 2018 Tamil film 96, is also joining the race.
